Brianne Sanchez
I started my professional life as a journalist and love interviewing people and meeting deadlines.
My work in higher education and with the nonprofit & philanthropic sector centered around growing community engagement and capacity-building initiatives. Today, I weave my skills as a communicator, facilitator, and collaborator to amplify inspiring ideas and support meaningful projects.

Education: I earned journalism and English degrees at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master's in Public Administration from Drake University.
Civic leadership: I've volunteered on numerous community boards, including as past chair of the Des Moines Public Library Foundation.
Who I serve: I've partnered with global companies, national philanthropic organizations, state agencies and higher education institutions. I've written in the voice of executives, on behalf of artists and entrepreneurs. Magazine editors contact me with assignments that include profiles, travel pieces and home tours.
Organizations in need of content marketing, case studies, magazine editorial, annual reports, fundraising case statements and feature writing hire me for projects that highlight industry knowledge and individual ingenuity.
Occasionally, I partner with nonprofit organizations to facilitate strategic planning sessions and project-based community engagement initiatives.
